Viva la Pepa seeks to activate communities through direct engagement. We are available to create performance works, of any length, with members in our communities. We wish to convene conversations and lead classes across groups through partnerships and collaborations. The collective can offer a range of curriculum for any size group, and can present repertory for intimate studio showings and/or lage public events. Build Your Own Package

We can create residency packages catering to what you are looking for, given our expertise. Residency Packages can include a focus on the specific choreographic/performative journeys of our recent productions: Holy Doña, Noche Bomba; also early learning strategies with the Drag Story Hour team, and appearances by Doña Pepa (MC/performer for drag/burlesque cabarets) by customizing activities through a combination of workshops, classes, showings, performances, and dialogues to suit your needs.

Impact in the Classroom

Our work has had significant impact in college classrooms and rehearsal spaces. If you are a university/college, we want to collaborate with you. Viva la Pepa offers unique interdisciplinary co-curricular opportunities. If you are interested in working with us to bring Viva la Pepa to your campus and communities, we encourage you to connect with multiple partners as co-sponsors. By partnering with Academic departments (such as Women’s, Gender and Sexuality, Theater and Dance, Ethnic studies) and Inclusion and Diversity student services in our previous residencies, co-sponsorship has ensured interdisciplinary discussions developed amongst audiences and participants.
